What
wood parts do you offer for Range Rovers?
Steering wheels, shift knobs and
brake handles are the most requested
enhancements. We go far beyond these for special interiors.
Will your wheel fit my car?
We work on factory Land Rover wheels. This ensures that they fit and
operate as the factory intended. Normally, this is done on an exchange
basis. We send you a wood wheel and you send us your original.
Can I send you my wheel
to modify?
Certainly. We will create the wheel you want and send your steering
wheel back to you.
Can I purchase a new
Land Rover wheel to modify?
If you have a worn or leather damaged wheel and would like us to
enhance a new steering wheel, we can provide that.
How are the wheels
made?
First, we unstitch and peel back the leather. We then cut and remove
the rubber where necessary. Our wood is bonded directly to the steel
ring, colored and finished on the wheel. The leather is trimmed,
stitched and tucked. Our designs follow the factory shape of the
cross-sectional profile, producing a clean interface between the
leather and the wood. This is not an after market overlay!
How long does it take to
ship?
Since our custom wheels are made on an individual basis, we do not
have finished wheels on the shelf. For a
2-piece wood wheel we
normally ship in one week. For the
full burl wheel we need 2-3 weeks.
Complete interior makeovers are 4-5 weeks.
Can I change the
factory interior wood to something I prefer?
Most certainly! This is our forte.
Our company lineage is classic wood restoration where we have rebuilt
complete interiors on award winning vehicles. This same expertise and
philosophy allow us to produce custom Range Rover wood for clients
that want a truly personalized look. This makeover can include the
factory parts and additional components.
Is your Range
Rover Makeover an after-market kit?
Definitely not!
We have factory interior parts which we veneer with an industrial
waterproof adhesive. The pieces are then colored as necessary
and finished. Since we perform all of the work from the beginning
to the end, we have complete control over the selection of veneers or
fiber weaves that create that one-of-a-kind interior. |
